Salvation Essentials

One could spend lifetimes delving into the depths of the Bible and not even scratch the surface of everything that it teaches us about God. But God's love is so great he has made the means of salvation so clear even the simplest of us can understand it.

• Everyone (including you and me) has done wrong (Romans 3:23).
• Everyone who has done wrong (including you and me) is separated from God (Romans 6:23).
• God loves us so much His Son (Jesus Christ) died on a cross to pay the penalty for our wrong doing (Romans 5:8).
• If, understanding the above, you accept that Christ is Lord and believe his resurrection, the you will be saved by God's grace. (Romans 10:9-10).

That's it. That's what you need to know to be saved.  Make no mistake, there is much more to do and learn as a believer, but there is nothing else you must do to be saved.
